I will be working in NVIDIA Corporation as a Signal Integrity Engineer since October 2, 2006.
What's signal integrity? What does signal integrity engineer do?
| "signal integrity engineer"= "microwave plumber" who can ensure the fast buses work properly. | |
| "signal integrity
engineer" makes computers run fast
and correctly by getting power to the chips cleanly and signals quickly
between the chips . | |
| "signal integrity engineer" works in the part of the design process for electronics that enables your computer to work next to your lamp without making the lamp flicker. | |
| "signal integrity engineer" defines the limits within which the digital designers can safely pretend things are actually digital. | |
| A "signal integrity engineer" is someone who knows that every digital signal is analog, and that every analog signal obeys Maxwell's equations. |

In August 2006 I finished my PhD in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of Duke University.

My thoroughly PhD work was supervised by Dr.Steven
A Cummer in the Sensing and Waves Group. It is mainly about using
electromagnetic waves from lightning discharges to remotely sense the upper boundary
of the earth-ionosphere waveguide. Here is my doctoral dissertation: broadband
VLF measurements of large and small scale ionospheric D region variations.
