NC.Evaluating electromagnetic wave interactions with biological systems.
6. October-November, 1992: Consultant with Hopgood,
Calimafde, Kalil, Blaustein Judlowe, New York, NY, on microwave oven leakage
and patent infringements.
7. June 1992-1995: EM Spectrum, Inc., Gaithersburg,
MD.Designing and evaluating structures for microwave heating equipment.
8. August 1993-August 1994: IBM, RTP, Problem-solving in
wireless communication networks.
9. March 1995-present: GTE-Mobilnet, Cary, NC,
Determining radiation patterns and ground-level power densities due to cellular
tower transmitters.Delivered sworn testimony to the City Councils of Durham,
Raleigh, Garner and Morrisville, NC.
10. September 1998-April 1999: Expert witness for the
law firm of Smith Helms Mullis Moore, Charlotte, NC.Prepared report and gave
sworn deposition on cause and origin of a mobile home fire that could have
started from faulty electrical wiring or an electric heater.
11. December 1998-January 1999: Consultant with the law
firm of Smith Helms Mullis Moore, Raleigh, NC.Rendered an expert opinion when
one manufacturer of transient voltage surge suppressors claimed that another
had violated the National Electrical Code and the Underwriter’s Laboratory
guidelines.
12. December 1999-June 1999:
Consultant with the law firm of Thompson Knight, Dallas, TX.Reviewed patents
relevant to infringement dispute between two US companies.Prepared expert
report on findings and recommendations.
