Personal Information
I was born in Anoopshahar (U.P.), India,
but spent most of my first 21 years in

Technology (R.E.C.), Bhopal.
Came to U.S. of A in August of 91,
Completed M.S. in Computer Science
from Washington University in St. Louis,
Missouri. Since September of 1993, I have been a Ph.D. student at Duke.
Research Interests
Software Fault Tolerance, Software Reliability and
Performance and Dependability Evaluation of Computer Systems have been
the foci of my Ph.D. research. Distributed Checkpointing was what I looked
at during my M.S.
Dependable computing
through reliable software
is a solution I am trying to evaluate.
Stochastic Petri net is a handy specification tool that we often use. Network Centric
Computing aka Java is something I shall soon get to :)...to learn
the issues involved (or for making a flashy home page)
Here is the pointer to Center for Advanced Computing and Communications, to
which I currently belong.
Here's my
publication list.
I shall be graduating in April, 1997 (Phew). If you are
hiring, or know someone who is, please take a moment to look at the
HTML version of my
Resume and pass it along.
