Space Physics encompasses everything which happens from about 50 miles above the earth (you'd
probably label what happens below this as atmospheric physics) to the edge of the solar system
(outside of which is more traditionally the domain of the
astrophysicist). My work focuses primarily on the near earth environment, and more specifically,
the processes that ultimately lead to the aurora. This work is somewhat on the back burner these days, and I hope to find the time to get back to it.
